Rajiv Gandhi International Airport(RGIA) won the annual Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey with the airport being adjudged ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ in Asia-Pacific Region for 2020, in its category of 15-25 million passengers per annum (MPPA). ASQ is the world’s leading airport passenger service and benchmarking programme measuring passenger satisfaction.

Airports Council International (ACI) is a global trade representative of the world's airport authorities. established in 1991, ACI represents airports' interests with governments and international organizations, develops standards, policies and recommended practices for airports, and it provides information and training opportunities to raise the standards around the world. It aims to provide the public a safe, secure, efficient and an environmentally responsible air transport system. It is governed by the ACI Governing Board. Under the One District One Focus Produce (ODOFP) programme, the list of products have been finalised after taking inputs from Telangana States by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers. The identified products would be prioritised for all the districts across the State as part of the focused approach. The Centre suggested cultivation of chillies in Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Khammam, Bhupalpalli, Mahabubabad and Mulugu districts and groundnut in Jogulamba Gadwal, Narayanpet and Wanaparthy districts. Yadadri-Bhongir, Sangareddy and Siddipet have been preferred for milk-based products and Jagtial, Mancherial and Nagarkurnool for mangoes while cultivation of turmeric has been recommended for Nizamabad.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare finalized the products for One District One Focus Product (ODOFP). The products have been identified from agricultural, horticultural, animal, poultry, milk, fisheries and aquaculture, marine sectors for 728 districts across the country.

The task force on Interlinking of Rivers (ILR) has agreed and approved the preparation of final detailed project report (DPR) on the proposed Mahandi -Godavari link by ensuring utilisation of the allocated Godavari waters by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, en route the link canal of the project.
About Godavari River
The Godavari is India's second longest river after the Ganga. Its source is in Triambakeshwar, Maharashtra. Godavari river rises near Nasik in Maharashtra and flows for a length of about 1465 km before outfalling in to the Bay of Bengal. The principal tributaries of the river are the Pravara, the Purna, the Manjra, the Penganga, the Wardha,the Wainganga the Pranhita (combined flow of Wainganga, Penganga, Wardha), the Indravati, the Maner and the Sabri.
About Mahanadi River
Mahanadi River, river in central India, rising in the hills of southeastern Chhattisgarh state and submerge in Bay of Bengal . The river flows through the states of Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
A total of 19.91 crore saplings are targeted to be planted as part of the Seventh Phase of Telangana Haritha Haram programme for mass afforestation in the year 2021-22. A meeting by the State level monitoring and coordination committee for Haritha Haram reviewed the arrangements and preparations for the Seventh Phase.
About Haritha Haram programme
Telangana Ku Haritha Haram or Haritha Haram is a large-scale tree-planting program implemented by the Government of Telangana to increase the amount of tree cover in the state from 24% to 33%. The program was launched by Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao on 3 July 2015. It is one of the Telangana Flagship programmes to rejuvenate degraded forests, protecting these forests from threats such as smuggling, encroachment, fire and grazing. It adopted intensive soil and moisture conservation measures based on a watershed approach.
