Zoram Mega Food Park  the first Mega Food Park in the State of Mizoram

This is the first Mega Food Park operationalized in the State of Mizoram. M/s Zoram Mega Food Park Pvt. Ltd. has been set up in 55.00 acre of land at a project cost of Rs. 75.20 crore.The project is being executed under the Mega Food Park Scheme of the Minsitry of Food Processing. Zoram Mega Food Park to provide employment to 5000 persons and to benefit about 25000 farmers.the modern infrastructure for food processing created at the Mega Food Park will benefit the farmers, growers, processors and consumers of Mizoram and adjoining areas immensely and prove to be a big boost to the growth of the food processing sector in the State of Mizoram.
Mega Food Park Scheme
Under the Mega Food Park Scheme, Government of India provides financial assistance upto Rs. 50.00 Crore per Mega Food Park project.

Turkey museum Hagia Sophia into mosque

President Tayyip Erdogan declared Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia open to Muslim prayer as a mosque on Friday after a top court ruled that the building’s conversion to a museum by modern Turkey’s founding statesman was illegal.​The Council of State, Turkey’s top administrative court, said in its ruling: “It was concluded that the settlement deed allocated it as a mosque and its use outside this character is not possible legally. The Cabinet decision in 1934 that ended its use as a mosque and defined it as a museum did not comply with laws,”
  • It was 1,500-year-old monument that is revered by Christians and Muslims alike.
  • Hagia Sophia act as focal point of both the Christian Byzantine and Muslim Ottoman empires and now one of the most visited monuments in Turkey.

Chinese claims to the Sakteng wildlife sanctuary in eastern Bhutan.The boundary between China and Bhutan has never been delimited. There have been disputes over the eastern, central and western sectors for a long time.so far, the talks have been about three specific areas, including Jakarlung and Pasamlung in the north, and the Chumbi Valley, where Doklam is situated, in west Bhutan.

Jean Castex, a top civil servant and local Mayor who orchestrated France’s COVID-19 lockdown exit strategy, as his new Prime Minister on 3 july 2020. Mr. Castex, 55, served for two years as the second-highest ranking official in the Elysee Palace during Nicolas Sarkozy’s presidency.The announcement followed the resignation of Edouard Philippe ahead of a widely anticipated overhaul of the government by Mr. Macron.Mr. Macron is reshaping his government as France grapples with the deepest economic depression since Second World War, a sharp downturn that will shrink the economy by about 11% in 2020. The local elections revealed surging support for the Green party and underlined Mr. Macron’s troubles connecting with ordinary people.
