The Dhauliganga river turned into a deathly torrent on Sunday after a part of the Nanda Devi glacier broke off and collapsed into it. Tapovan hydel project entirely washed away in Uttarakhand on Dhauliganga river. The Tapovan Vishnugad power plant is a 520MW run-of-river project which is being constructed on Dhauliganga River in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand.
