Government of Andhra Pradesh is ready to set up Multi Purpose Facility Centres (MPFCs), including for agricultural marketing and food processing, under the Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) across the State at an estimated cost of ₹10,235 crore. The Multi Purpose facilities include warehouses, drying platform, collection centers, cold rooms for storage, custom hiring centers, primary processing centers, assaying equipment, Janata Bazaars, bulk milk cooling units, cattle sheds and aqua infra, in select villages, procurement centers and e-marketing.
Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKS)
Rythu Bharosa Kendras launched on 30 May 2020 through the Government of Andhra Pradesh state. Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKS) are all set to emerge as the one-stop solution for the farmers, be it purchasing seeds and pesticides or selling their produce.Under this systems, farmers after biometric authentication can order fertilizers from RBK (Rythu Bharosa Kendra) in their village and fertilizer will be delivered at their door step.
